While his WBC belt will not be on the line, the challenge of Ngannou will be an awkward encounter for Fury as he takes on the MMA fighter under professional boxing rules.

Fury’s promoter, Warren, is adamant that he expects boxing’s biggest star to come out victorious against ‘The Predator’, but admits that Ngannou has what it takes to cause plenty of problems in the ring.

Speaking on White and Jordan, Warren said: “They're both the best of their respective disciplines.

"This is going to be an event to open the Riyadh Festival, it's called the Battle Of The Baddest and as I've said from day one, it's going to be a mega event.

"It's going to have eyeballs from all around the globe watching it and I think it's very exciting.

"I don't expect Ngannou to out-box Tyson but I know that he's a tremendous puncher.

"He's a roughhouse – you've only got to look at him in the UFC and I've seen quite a few of his fights in the UFC and he's a tough, tough guy.

"The only way that he can beat Tyson, in my opinion, is to knock Tyson out.

Ngannou, who is the hardest puncher in the world, has the ability to knock Fury

"You know that [Ngannou] is going to come throwing bombs and so we're going to need a strong referee in there to make sure that he doesn't do anything that he shouldn't do, as per the rules of boxing."

Warren went on: “He's going to have to throw bombs and put Tyson out of his stride.

"One thing that's for sure is that if Ngannou catches him then he'll hurt him.

"We know he's a massive puncher because he's in the Guiness Book Of Records for throwing the hardest punch.

"He is a big puncher and as Daniel Dubois showed in his fight with Oleksandr Usyk a couple of weeks ago, a big punch can change a fight dramatically.

"Tyson has got to be at the top of his game and watch out for this."

Responding to Simon Jordan describing the fight as 'rubbish', Warren replied: "It's not rubbish, it's two guys getting in the ring and you've got to have balls to get in the ring.

"It's not like Ngannou has never been in combat, that's what he does for a living.

"I don't take anything for granted with that. I expect Tyson to win, but as it lasts I'm telling you that it will be exciting.

"Every time Tyson gets in the ring it's for money because he's a professional boxer. If you get up in the morning and you go to work, you do it for money.

"The fact of the matter is that it's a huge event and as I've said, it will be a game-changer and that will unfurl in the next six or seven weeks when we see what is going to happen."
