Francis Ngannou backed to snap Deontay Wilder's legs in half in MMA fight by Eddie Hearn

Eddie Hearn does not fancy Deontay Wilder’s chances in an MMA fight with Francis Ngannou.

‘The Predator’ has been called out by almost all of the big names in boxing’s heavyweight division following his impressive performance against Tyson Fury.

Ngannou dropped Fury in the third round of their clash and looked like he might have won the fight, but ‘The Gypsy King’ was awarded a controversial split decision victory.

Since then, Wilder’s trainer, Malik Scott, has claimed that they are already in communication with Ngannou’s team to set up a fight.

Scott believes that should they clash in a boxing ring, Wilder will make easy work of Ngannou and knock him out.

But, appearing on the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, boxing promoter Hearn was asked how he thinks Wilder would fair in the Octagon against Ngannou.

"I’m not being funny, but have you seen his legs?” Hearn replied. “If Francis Ngannou kicked Deontay Wilder’s legs, they would literally snap in half."

This comes after Hearn has also hinted that he has been in contact with Ngannou’s team to potentially make a fight with Anthony Joshua.

“I can’t believe I’m even saying this, but Francis Ngannou vs Anthony Joshua becomes a huge fight…” Hearn told talkSPORT.

“AJ wants to fight in December or January. We have also spoken very briefly to the Ngannou camp to say we’d be willing to look at that fight.

“I love that fight in Africa, the ‘Rumble in the Jungle 2’ out there would be incredible between two heavyweight giants.”
