And when Hearn was asked by ex-England and Aston Villa striker Darren Bent on talkSPORT about the ramifications if Ngannou beats Fury, he replied: “Darren with all due respect, I think you’ve got more chance.”

Hearn continued by claiming the Southern Area heavyweight champion Johnny Fisher would knockout Ngannou in one round and so Fury should have no problems.

“Ngannou is a monster,” Hearn said. “He’s the UFC heavyweight world champion, if he sees you on the street or in a cage, it’s game over.

“If you watch him on the pads, I don’t want to be disrespectful, but I said it the other day, there is absolutely no way in the world that Francis Ngannou could win a Southern Area title.

“Johnny Fisher is our guy, Southern Area champion, Johnny Fisher vs Ngannou is a total mismatch, Fisher would have him out of there in a round.

“So, Tyson is going to play with him, he’ll do what he wants with him and if you look at the striking ability on the pads, he can’t even hurt Tyson Fury in this fight.

“But, it’s a great spectacle, you’ve got the UFC world champ, the heavyweight world champ.

“And fair play to Tyson Fury he’s going to get £20m plus and fight a guy who has never boxed before.”
