Former World’s Strongest Man-turned-boxer Eddie Hall has revealed how he can eat over 9,000 calories in one day but somehow lose weight.

In his latest video on YouTube, where he boasts three million subscribers on his channel, Hall opened up on his month-long journey on the carnivore diet.

As part of the diet, Hall would only eat meat produce and eggs for 30 days.

At the start of the video, Hall conceded the diet ‘started off great’ but within two weeks, he was ‘s******* himself constantly’.

He subsequently consulted Dr Shawn Baker, who is a major advocate of the carnivore diet, on how to avoid the constant bowel movements.

So, how on earth does Hall cram in nearly 10,000 calories into his daily diet?

His first meal of the day consists of five organic eggs, two packs of 100g smoked salmon, some cottage cheese, butter and a milkshake.

All up, the calorie count for all items is 1506 calories, with 150 grams of protein.

The salmon offers the most protein with 46g, while the eggs comprise 30g of protein and the milkshake 39g of protein.

Hall would then head off to boxing training for his morning workout.

He returns home for lunch, which consists of a ribeye steak, three eggs and another milkshake.

The steak is 2,900 calories and offers 240g of protein, while the eggs provide 210 calories and 18g of protein.

After lunch, it is time for Hall to go to the gym for a weights session.

In the final stages of his workout, he manages to squeeze in his third milkshake of the day, adding another 600 calories and 60g protein to his intake.

Hall also enjoys a post-workout snack in the form of biltong, which consists of 113 calories and 24g of protein.

Dinner time rolls around and it is Hall’s biggest meal of the day as he chows down two ribeye steaks and two eggs.

The ribeye steaks provide a whopping 2328 calories and 192g of protein, while the eggs add 140 calories and 12g of protein.

If that wasn’t enough to burst his belly, Hall ensures there is room for dessert.

Hall has one more milkshake but also consumes a broth and adds some protein powder into a tub of yoghurt.

The milkshake adds another 601 calories and 60g protein to the tally, while the yoghurt with protein powder consists of 530 calories and 62g protein and the broth just 81 calories but 14g of protein.

Hall had also been gulping down a staggering 10 to 12 litres of water mixed with electrolytes throughout the day.

With all of his meals added up, Hall’s calories total up to an eye-watering figure of 9,828 as well as 892g of protein.

Remarkably, he still lost weight throughout the day thanks to his intense workouts.

“How can I lose weight with 10,000 calories a day?” Hall said.

“How does that work? I think the results speak for themselves. I feel great. My strength has gone through the roof, I’m sleeping better. I can eat as much as I want to a degree. I can eat as much meat and dairy and eggs as I want, and I don’t put weight on. Absolutely insane.”

Hall is not undergoing the carnivore diet for anything in particular but revealed in June that he has received offers for a boxing and MMA fight.

The 36-year-old went viral for his 2 vs 1 MMA fight against Jamil and Jemel Naffati in which he knocked out one of the brothers.

His boxing debut was less successful as he lost to fellow ex-strongman Thor Bjornsson in March 2022.

Hall revealed to Michael Bisping prior to his victory over the Naffati brothers he had been in talks with KSI’s Misfits Boxing as well as Russian and Polish MMA promotions.

He also called out a former world’s strongest man in Mariusz Pudzianowski, although a fight has not materialised.
