Derek Chisora says Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou will be a 'walkover' after seeing training footage of the former UFC champion

Derek Chisora was not impressed after watching Francis Ngannou in training ahead of his clash with Tyson Fury.

The two giants will meet in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on October 28 under boxing rules, despite Ngannou being the former UFC heavyweight world champion.

At a recent media workout, Ngannou received a lot of criticism for how he looked in training and now one of Fury’s former opponents Chisora has chimed in.

Having seen Ngannou train, Chisora believes this will be an easy fight for Fury and that ‘The Gypsy King’ will go into his undisputed contest, which has already been signed, with Oleksandr Usyk unscathed.

"Mate, John Fury said it, if he's fighting and throwing punches like that, it's going to be a walkover,” Chisora told Boxing Social.

“Tyson is in camp now, he is going to come in and knock him out because he has got a big fight in December."

And, as Chisora referenced, John was equally unimpressed with Ngannou, as he said: “I’ve just seen Francis Ngannou and Mike Tyson – and that so-called trainer that’s got the pads on.

“I’ve seen the open workout, I hope he’s kidding along and he’s playing possum here.

“I hope that’s a joke and intended to be a laugh.

“Because if it’s not, he ain’t got a prayer, he ain’t got a cat in hell’s chance.

“He won’t get out the first round, it’s probably gonna be Tyson’s quickest knockout.

“It’s gotta be kidology that, it’s gotta be fun and games.

“If that’s what he’s got, God help him, he’ll get smashed to bits.

“That’s embarrassing. If that’s what he can do on a public workout, don’t bother doing a public workout. It’s a disgrace.”
