Dana White nearly falls off seat at stunning KO then heads to Ireland to watch undefeated boxer fight man who has never been finished

It has been a hectic 24 hours for UFC supremo Dana White.

Week six of Dana White's Contender Series 72 kicked off in style, carrying on the recent trend of fan reactions to the most jaw dropping moments.

This time, it was the turn of Tallison Teixeira who took centre stage with an incredible one-punch KO win over Arthur Lopes.

White was left in awe sparking a stunned reaction, such was the scale of Teixeira’s finisher.

The 6ft 7in fighter took down Lopes with a strong right punch before pounding the Brazilian, forcing the referee to call time on the bout.

White's reaction caught the attention of both fight fans and the commentator who claimed: "And Dana White certainly liked what he saw. Almost fell out of his chair."

However, White had no time to dwell on events at his Contender Series as he boarded a private jet bound for Dublin.

White took to Instagram in the early hours of Wednesday morning, on board the jet with his entourage to let fans know of his whereabouts.

The UFC boss will have a ringside seat at the 3Arena to watch Callum Walsh take on Poland's Przemyslaw Runowski on Friday night.

Unbeaten Walsh (11-0) who originates from Cork, boxes out of Los Angeles and is trained by Hall of Famer Freddie Roach.

White acts as Walsh's promoter alongside Tom Loeffler who helped launch the career of Gennady Golovkin.

Runowski will provide Walsh with his biggest test to date. The Pole is ranked No1 at super welterweight and has never been finished in 25 fights.

Walsh, who boasts nine knockouts from his 11 fights, will be hoping to put on a show in his Dublin debut on Friday.

The WBC Continental Americas super welterweight title holder is viewed as one of boxing's rising stars and is viewed as a future world champion.

And the 23-year-old is likely to receive a huge pay day from his headline fight against Runowski.

Friday's event, backed by White, will see Walsh net a whopping six-figure sum as he continues to build momentum from his last outing – a brutal KO victory over Carlos Ortiz Cervantes in June.

Also on the card, Olympian Emmet Brennan will face Kevin Cronin at super-middleweight, whilst light-middleweights Craig O'Brien takes on Edward Donovan.

Heavyweight Thomas Carty will be in action as will Shauna O'Keeffe and debutant Gareth Dowling.

Then it could be a case of nipping across the Irish Sea for another mega night of boxing when Anthony Joshua takes on Daniel Dubois at Wembley.

AJ is bidding to become a three-time heavyweight champion with the IBF belt on the line – and it’s all on talkSPORT as well as Liam Gallagher performing some Oasis songs.
