Dana White enjoyed Mike Tyson and Nick Kyrgios’ recent chat.

Heavyweight legend Tyson sat down with tennis star Kyrgios in May for an interview on Hana Kuma where the former’s surprise comeback fight against Jake Paul on November 15 was on the agenda.

During the conversation, Kyrgios asked the boxing great if there were any things he wished people understood about him more without having t explain.

Tyson was pretty succinct as he replied: “Nothing, yeah nothing at all really. He then added what he might say to someone. “F*** you,” he finished off.

Kyrgis smiled as he imagined Tyson replying to someone as bluntly as he said he would.

It definitely tickled UFC president White, who is a long-term friend of Tyson. Posting the video on his Instagram story, he wrote: “LMFAO. I’m with you, @MikeTyson.”

Tyson and White have regularly contacted each other and interacted on social media, with the UFC kingpin extremely fond of the former champion.

But something he hasn’t been fond of is Tyson’s return to the ring at the age of 58, in a full professional bout.

White has not hidden his feeling about the return and even blasted the fight in an epic rant, while defending his friend’s participation.

“If I brought up f*****g Jake Paul, pretty much everybody in the room and the other room wants to see Jake Paul get knocked out.

“When this fight happens, Tyson will be 58 f*****g years old.

“Under any circumstances, a f*****g almost 60 year old man shouldn’t be fighting a 27 year old f*****g guy.

“Under any circumstances. Even if it’s Mike Tyson, so it’s f*****g ridiculous.

“When [Paul] actually fought someone who was a boxer [Tommy Fury], who had the same type of record he has, who was his age, and who was his size, he f***ing lost.

“So they’re never going to go that f***ing route again. I love Mike Tyson, but he’s almost f***ing 60 years old.”

He then used his own age to highlight the differences in the fighters. “My f***ing back is killing me today, killing me. I have no idea why.

“I guess it’s because I’m fifty f***ing four.”

Tyson last fought professionally in 2005, with his career ending on a sad note as he lost to Irish journeyman Kevin McBride.

He fought in an exhibition against Roy Jones Jr in 2020, and has attempted to prove his fitness with samples of training footage.

That has caught the attention of Paul’s mother.

“Mike just looks scary and big… his Instagram videos look crazy. So she’s like watching all of that and just not liking it.”

Still, he will no doubt buy her a nice gift with the rumoured $40m he is said to be making from the fight.
