'Crazy' – Dana White insists he 'didn't see' Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou, but compares fight to Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor

Dana White was admittedly impressed by Francis Ngannou’s achievement against Tyson Fury.

The UFC president has had a number of conflicts with his former heavyweight champion in recent years, as The Predator battled to secure free agency from the company.

In his first fight since leaving the UFC, Ngannou crossed over to boxing and challenged the WBC heavyweight world champion.

Despite most expecting a one-sided affair in Fury’s favour, it was Ngannou who emerged with more credit.

The underdog shockingly floored Fury in round three and hurt him again in round eight.

At the final bell though, he lost a narrow, controversial split decision.

White joined Donald Trump Jr on his Triggered Podcast and said: “I didn’t see the fight, but the fact that he went ten rounds with Tyson Fury is crazy.

“Conor McGregor made it ten with Floyd Mayweather, Anthony Pettis beat Roy Jones Jr – I know Roy’s 60 years old or whatever, but I don't know what the hell is going on, it's crazy.

“I didn't see the fight, but the fact that he went ten rounds is unbelievable.”

Asked if Ngannou’s defection to boxing hurt the UFC, White replied: “I don't care.

“Listen, these guys, at some point, everybody is going to move on.

“Everybody has to do what's right for them and make money for their families, so whatever they've got to do, they've got to do."
