Misfits Boxing 18 descended into chaos as a brawl broke out in the crowd before the main event.

A video uploaded to social media shows one punter arguing with another one, who is sitting down.

The fan who is standing then leans in and lands a sucker punch as the other supporter reacts by charging in for a takedown.

He is subsequently thrown to the floor, before security steps in to break up the heated altercation.

Misfits Boxing promoter, Mams Taylor, was less than impressed by the ugly scenes and took to social media to write: “Putting fans in danger by sucker punching someone ain't it. Banned.”

Taylor’s decision to ban the perpetrator was well-received by his followers.

One fan wrote: “Nothing more disgusting than attacking someone without letting them defend themselves, dangerous and cowardly. Right decision sir.”

Another tweeted: “W move, get rid of that clown.”

Meanwhile, another added: “Sly punch on a man alone sitting down. Should never be allowed in any future events.”

The brawl broke out moments before Elle Brooke and Jenny Savage made their way into the ring in the featured attraction of the evening at Newcastle’s Vertu Motors Arena.

Brooke retained her Misfits middleweight title in a hard-fought decision win against the bare-knuckle fighter.

In the end, all three judges had it in the OnlyFans model’s favour with scorecards of 48-47, 49-46 and 48-47.

Brooke was supposed to be rematching Paige VanZant in her next fight after their inaugural encounter ended in a draw.

However, Brooke claims the ex-UFC fighter couldn’t make the date.

Speaking to DAZN, she said: “Not on me, it wasn’t my fault.

“It was only until six weeks ago that it was meant to be Paige.

“But then she rang Mams up and said ‘Yeah, I don’t have enough time. My coach is on holiday’.

“And I was like ‘Girl, my coach is on holiday’. My coach was in Gran Canaria at the time.

“It’s just excuses and she was straight after my fight, if you remember, that went on Instagram and posted ‘August 31, O2 Arena’.

“She was the one who wanted the fight as soon as possible and bear in mind this was September.

“So it was already later. What do you mean you didn’t have enough time? You had enough time.

“You just went on holiday or did whatever you wanted.”
