BKFC star Rayne Wells shows off massive back tattoo of UFC icon Conor McGregor and Dave Feldman

If you ever want to impress your bosses, get a tattoo of their faces on your back.

That is the mentality of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) welterweight Rayne Wells, who unveiled one of the most bizarre tattoos ever seen, even by combat sports standards.

Ahead of his BKFC 66 showdown against Almat Jumanov, Wells stripped down for the weigh-in and showed off his new artwork to the world.

But a certain tattoo on his back had fight fans squinting their eyes to work out what it was.

Well, wonder no more because Wells bravely immortalised a photo of UFC superstar Conor McGregor and David Feldman.

Feldman is the founder and president of BKFC, while McGregor jumped on board as a co-owner in April.

In the picture, McGregor holds his fists up to the camera while Feldman sported a smile and posed next to the Irishman.

Who knows what was going through Wells’ mind when he walked into a tattoo parlour and requested the photo to be inked onto his back.

Wells, 42, will hope to channel the fighting spirit of McGregor when he fights Jumanov.

Nicknamed ‘The Guy on the Couch’, Wells lost his BKFC debut to Angel Hernandez inside eight seconds of the first round in April.

Wells was also 0-2 in his professional mixed martial arts (MMA) career, with both defeats being stoppages.

BKFC 66 is headlined by a bantamweight championship bout as Alberto Blas defends his title against Ryan Reber.

The event also marks BKFC’s 100th card since its inception in 2018.

One name people will be desperate to see on a future BKFC card is McGregor.

The Irishman has two fights remaining on his UFC contract, but has expressed a desire to compete in the promotion.

“For me, I have a little business left with the UFC, two fights left on my contract, but for sure, I have my eye on all of this,” McGregor said in July.

“I’m not up here just as an owner, player-manager I’ll title myself on this one.”

McGregor was scheduled to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June, but was forced to withdraw due to a broken pinky toe.

However, a new date for the bout has yet to be confirmed.
