Awkward moment as KSI appears to forget his brother Deji fought Floyd Mayweather while talking to Anthony Joshua

For a moment, it appeared that KSI had forgotten his younger brother Deji fought Floyd Mayweather.

Deji took on one of the best boxers of all time, Mayweather, in an exhibition bout last year and he was stopped in the sixth round, although the YouTuber did manage to leave ‘Money’ with a black eye.

KSI and Joshua were having a chat for DAZN when the social media star seemed to forget that his brother had fought Mayweather

Despite the bout only taking place last year

Although Deji was not the first social media star to fight Mayweather, as Logan Paul, who is a business partner and friend of KSI, took on the challenge and managed to go the distance a few years earlier.

And this seemed to confuse KSI, as when he was talking to Anthony Joshua for DAZN, AJ asked what it was like when Deji fought Mayweather.

“Ummm… no wait no, that was Logan,” KSI said, seemingly forgetting about his brother’s bout.

The mediator, Ade Oladipo, quickly chimed in, saying: “No, when Deji fought Mayweather, remember?”

And this jogged KSI’s memory, as he said: “Ohhh, oh.”

In fairness, KSI could be forgiven for being a little distracted at the moment, as he has a huge upcoming clash with Tommy Fury on October 14 occupying his mind.

The pair will battle it out in Manchester over six rounds, as KSI strives to do what Jake Paul couldn’t, with the American having been beaten by Fury earlier this year.
