Anthony Richardson's 60-yard touchdown pass is one of the most absurd throws we've ever seen

This is just ridiculous.

It's impossible to set up Anthony Richardson's 60-yard touchdown pass to Alec Pierce without simply saying: YOU NEED TO SEE THIS DANG THROW!

Richardson slipped in his backpedal which caused two things to happen: It threw off his footwork to step into a throw, while also allowing defensive pressure to collapse his pocket and get in his face. When this happens normally you'll see a quarterback take the sack, or attempt an ill-advised throw.

But this is Anthony Richardson, so he picked a third path: Launching the ball 60 yards through the air with no effort at all, using only a flick of his wrist to toss an absolute dime into Pierce's bread basket.

There's simply nobody in the league with this kind of improvisational arm strength. Was this a vibes-based huck-and-catch that happened to work out? Absolutely. It's still one of the most impressive throws you'll ever see.
